Biology is an interdisciplinary study. Can someone explain what this means to me?

interdisciplinary = more than 1 discipline (discipline \(\approx\) subject) the study of biology overlaps it's own discipline and can be studied in terms of chemistry, physics, etc.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
It means that there is more than one subject, or area, to biology. Think of biology like a tree, and each of it's subjects (including chemistry, physics, etc.) it's limbs.
