I know this isn't Physical Education but i am not finding a subject for it so ill give a medal and fan if someone can help me with this question(: What are 3 strategic and/or tactical requirements for successful performance in basketball?.

OpenStudy (zephyr141):

i suppose agility, stamina, and i guess height can be a tactical requirement.

OpenStudy (zephyr141):

agility, dexterity and stamina. i would settle with that.

OpenStudy (ilovebmth1234):

how are they important ? those would be the next questions id have to answer and i have no idea

OpenStudy (zephyr141):

ok. agility is foot work. a basketball player is nothing without footwork, but not just foot work also dribbling the ball. that's where dexterity comes in. a person of high dexterity can manipulate the balls movement at will and those two together are the biggest parts of basketball. now lastly it's stamina. that court is 94ft long and games are basically a HIIT, it's comparable i suppose, so stamina is definitely needed for the game. succeed in any two of those and you can be fairly successful at basketball. in my opinion. i've never played in competitive basketball tournaments but that's my assessment from a few games here and there.

OpenStudy (zephyr141):

"...basically a HIIT workout..." forgot that last word. add that in to my response.

OpenStudy (zephyr141):

you know what HIIT is right?

OpenStudy (ilovebmth1234):

nope ha i know NOTHING about basketball

OpenStudy (zephyr141):

lol. HIIT is High-Intensity Interval Training. it's all that stop and go movements. normal HIIT involves sprinting then jogging then sprinting. much like basketball. and HIIT requires lots of stamina and builds stamina as well. you can see how it can be utilized in a basketball game or a baketball palyer's career.
