What might happen if dispatchable threads were removed from the software hierarchy? I give medals 1 Requests from the mouse would be ignored. 2 New programs would not be able to run. 3 The running program would close. 4 Background programs would be dropped.

Do you know why threads are dispatchable? Or what the term means?

yes dispatch able threads are dropped by the os after cheeking for anything that dosent need to be running

OK, so, if they don't clear out things that do not need to be run right now, or make it so you can't do so, what do you think would change in the way things happen from your list of choices.

Yah, I have been thinking 4 too. Do not know if it is the correct answer, but it does seem most logical with that.
