HELP !! .. GIVING OUT MEDALS :) Evaluate -x^2 - 4x - 4 for x= -3

Ok, so first you have to replace all the 'x's wtih -3, making the equation, (-)(-)3^2 - 4(-3) - 4. Then, from there, you simplify the equation. You do 3^2 to get 9, -4*-3 to get 12, so you have 9 - 12- 4 Then, you subtract, and get -7.
