Explain step by step please

OpenStudy (umarsback):

OpenStudy (bibby):

which sections of the pie chart represent people that gave more than $20?

OpenStudy (umarsback):

21-30$ and 30$

OpenStudy (bibby):

are there any numbers for each part of the chart or are you just estimating?

OpenStudy (umarsback):

nope thats the whole question.

OpenStudy (bibby):

if I had to estimate I'd say it's like 35-40% given that the red line I drew is 25

OpenStudy (bibby):

30-35*

OpenStudy (bibby):

so what is 30% of 280?

OpenStudy (umarsback):

24

OpenStudy (umarsback):

but look at the options given...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 21-30 and the 30+ are greater than the 20$ asked in the question. we can see from the graph that it is slightly greater than a quarter (25%) of the graph. divide the numbers (56, 98, ...) by the number 280 to find the percentage, the one that bakes the most sense looking at the graph is B which is = 35%
