Use Pythagoras Theorem to find distance OA.

Gaaaah I've not learned that yet!!! >.<

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[OA=\sqrt{OB ^{2}+BA ^{2}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks! Is there any way you could teach me how to solve it using Vectors? That's what the lesson is about :P @M0j0jojo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In retrospect, I probably should have mentioned that in the question itself... Oops...

OpenStudy (aum):

The position of the plane is 216i + 76j The magnitude of the vector is: \(\sqrt{216^2 + 76^2}\) which is the length OA.

Perfect. Thank you both so much!!!
