OpenStudy (anonymous):

Polygons ABCD and A′B′C′D′ are shown on the coordinate grid:

OpenStudy (amistre64):

but, we are not running an answering service here ....

OpenStudy (cloverracer):

but an understanding service :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just wanna be guided threw it u dont have to be mean :(

OpenStudy (amistre64):

letting you know the rules is not being mean ...

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

no being mean..., just clarifying any misunderstandings

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just want ansers to a couple questions to see if i understand

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

may also want to post specifics, if someone knows they'd help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just want help :(

OpenStudy (amistre64):

OpenStudy (amistre64):

wheres the grid?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im trying to attach sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What set of transformations is performed on ABCD to form A′B′C′D′? A translation 1 unit to the left followed by a 180-degree counterclockwise rotation about the origin A translation 1 unit to the right followed by a 180-degree counterclockwise rotation about the origin A 90-degree counterclockwise rotation about the origin followed by a translation 1 unit to the right A 90-degree counterclockwise rotation about the origin followed by a translation 1 unit to the left

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the question

OpenStudy (amistre64):

and which one do you feel is the most accurate one? what are your thoughts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i thinking a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because its defiantly not a 90 degree turn

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i do like the 180 rotation bet and there is a shift, let me look at the grid better

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if they shift it left first, then it goes further right in the rotation .... which is what we want

OpenStudy (amistre64):

A is fine to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i think a because it makes sense if u move the triangle one to the left and then just rotate 180 it matches up a i correct ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just wanted somoene to check over my answers before i turn the assignment in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks amistre :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

youre welcome and good luck :) and as long as you participate in the solution process, add your own ideas and explanations .... we are good :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thats good to know :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnx once again
