2m-2n=x+n solve for x can anyone help?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

where is x? is there 1 copy or more than one copy of x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is the equation, there isn't another x

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the goal is to get the equation into the form x = ... basically get x to one side and everything else to the other side

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

any ideas on how to move that +n over?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtracting it from both sides?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's the only way I can think of

Nnesha (nnesha):

yes your right subtract

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I read the equation wrong...it's supposed to be 2m-2x=x+n
