For adults, the RDA of the amino acid lysine is 12 mg per kg of body weight. How many grams per day should a 73.0kg adult receive?

OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):

First, convert the mg to g: 12mg = .012g .012g/kg of body weight. Now, since you have a rate, and it reads ".012 grams of that acid for every 1 kg of body weight". Just multiply .012*73= .876 grams
