-20x^3y-14xy÷-2xy

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

\[\frac{ -20x^3y-14xy }{ -2xy }\] since you are given a binomial as the numerator, first thing to do is to find the factor of the two terms.. what would be common to both -20x^3y and -14xy is -2xy so you'll have: \[\frac{ -2xy(10x^2 +7) }{ -2xy }\] take note that -2xy/-2xy is '1' then you'll have it as: \[10x^2 + 7\]
