1st answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Union means the set will contain every values that set A and B are containing.. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A has 2, 3, 6, 11, 16 B has 6, 11 Now, you can see 6, 11 are in both the sets, so you will not write that twice in Union.. \[A \cup B = [2, 3, 6, 11, 16]\]

thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For example : A = {1,2} B = {3, 4} Now A union B will be : {1, 2, 3, 4}
