Can any of y'all help me figure this one out? I am having some trouble with it :) Solve 4x + 5 + x = 6x - 7 - x. x = 7 x = -2 No solution

OpenStudy (pottersheep):

4x + 5 + x = 6x - 7 - x. So move all x's to one side, and all numbers to the other

OpenStudy (pottersheep):

Remember signs switch when you move across the equals sign

OpenStudy (pottersheep):

4x + 5 + x = 6x - 7 - x. 4x+x-6x+x=-5-7

OpenStudy (pottersheep):

x=-12, are you sure you typed the question correctly? Or maybe I made a mistake

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I might've not typed it correctly.. I don't know. I think I can figure it out now, thanks:)

OpenStudy (pottersheep):

Np :)
