OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

Sorry, I was in the process of posting it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you tell me one thing?? \[\sin(-x) = ??\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An Odd function has a definition: If \(f(x)\) is an odd function, then: \[f(-x) = -f(x)\]

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

So is it B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Really??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

May be you wear glasses but I think you can see very well without glasses.. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Still B??

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, see the definition properly: \[f(-x) = -f(x)\] This is only satisfied by \(sin(x)\).. \[\sin(-x) = -\sin(x)\]

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Welcome.. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I want to tell you here itself the definition of Even Function: If f(x) is an Even function, then: \(f(-x) = f(x)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you think of any trigonometric function which follows this?? Think, you will get it..
