um I guess you could just take from my answer.. lol parents could get their kids into things that they like. Like joining a band or kick boxing or an art class, that will give them something to look forward to and enjoy, and they will be around kids that also enjoy what they do. And whenever a kid does good in school reward them, or cheer them on and make sure its not just work; and the parent should show them that if they are failing that the parent will do anything to help or get them the help they need it they cant do it
