y-15=17/19(x-26) put in slope intercept form I don't know what to do with the fraction

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

leave it as a fraction, the problem is it won't simplify as the fraction contains 2 prime numbers... so distribute the fraction then add 15 to both sides of the equation . you need the form y = mx + b hope it helps

I'm still not sure what to do with the fraction, I dont know how to distribute

OpenStudy (dmndlife24):

i got y = 17/19x - 157/19

OpenStudy (dmndlife24):

you would multiply 17/19 by x and then 17/19 by -26

ohh okay i see now
