1. Amino acids form protein! 2.The word amiNe (note the N) always means theres a Nitrogen. So the bonded nitrogen is the amine part. 3. Straight lines are regular ol' bonds. 4. Protein? Kinda redundant. Or maybe poly-peptide. 5. Polymer. Poly means more than one. Mono means one. Lots of amino acids joined together is a "poly"mer, one amino acid is just that, an amino acid.
