Look at your chart...let number of weeks be x and account balance be y. Pick two sets of points.. (3,135) ... x1 = 3 and y1 = 135 (6,270)....x2 = 6 and y2 = 270 now we will use the slope formula : slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) slope = (270 - 135) / (6 - 3) slope = 135/3 slope = 45
