I'm not really sure, im doing a retest for geometry and im extremely confused. It says :
For 4 and 5, apply the Law of Detachment to the following to draw a conclusion if possible.  If not possible, write “not possible”.
4.)  If it’s Monday, then the library is closed.
          Today is Monday.


5.)  If I do not feed the fish each day, then the fish will be hungry.
           I fed the fish today.
So i think I am looking for which law of detachment that helps the sentence make sense

Law of Detachement states if you have a if p, then q statement, and you have p, then q is true. So in the first one, you have "If it's monday, then the library is closed" then you have "Today is Monday" so by the law of detachment, the library is closed. Get it?
