TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

We should be able to edit our replies... I sometimes mistype something and I wish I could just edit it instead of rewriting it all again.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

I know people might just respond with hey and then later just copy the work of someone who answered it later so that when others see it, they see he answered it first so they give him a medal. But you can also have something say it was edited and let people see what was changed...

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

I agree.

Nnesha (nnesha):

i don't think so that we can edit anything when we are helping on someone post like if i post wrong question first then i saw someone like the smartOne give write answer i cannot edit my reply i should be delete that comments. so when i delete that the person who give write answer goes first d: d: :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

I know but sometimes you know when you are writing an equation you have to wait like 10 seconds for it to show up but sometimes i am in a hurry and then it only shows half of what I wrote...

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you time management issues are not of any concern :) since the interaction here is spose to be real time, hence mistakes occur, any mistakes can be propmtly corrected. it even gives the asker a chance to speak up and say why did you do this or that?

OpenStudy (gorv):

yeah agree with @amistre64 both the asker and solver will learn from that and they wont do it again ....if they got to know abt the misktake

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I agree I wish we could edit our replies.

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

maybe should ask @preetha what she thinks.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

editing real time interaction is simply adds unneeded code ... imo
