What does descriptive statistics represent?

OpenStudy (philcua):

Whatever you want them to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, so I'm dealing with qualitative data, and I'm aware that the mode is the only central tendency that is appropriate for qualitative data, so do I put that it represents the number that appears the most in a data set?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (philcua):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (philcua):

OpenStudy (philcua):

May I have medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks and you confused me..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what would the description be for the mode?

OpenStudy (philcua):

What do you mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dunno, the questions says explain what these descriptive statistics represent and the only descriptive statistic for qualitative data is the mode

OpenStudy (philcua):

Which is descriptions not numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):
