A box contains a red marble, a green marble, a yellow marble, a blue marble, and no other marbles. Two marbles are to be chosen at random from the box without replacement. If the first marble chosen is green, what is the probability that the second marble chosen will be blue?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There's a 1/3 chance.

Could you give your explanation please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well since you there are four marbles... and one marble was already picked out of the box, there are only 3 marbles now. When you chose one marble again again, the probability would be 1/3.

oh ok, thank you
