What do you think about the ethical aspects of cloning?

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

there are a lot of ethical issues with respect to cloning. human cloning or actually to a certain extent mammalian cloning is banned. Also cloning in a real sense does not help that much. it is the same genetic make up which doesnt add to diversity. genetic diversity helps in adaptations and eventually evolution of species

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

therapeutic cloning is still under research....for eg regeneration of liver or kidney etc. but the whole organism is banned

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

therapeutic cloning is a wonderful approach for treatment for organ failures. but still it has to undergo various ethical screening. http://www.bioethics.org.au/Resources/Resource%20Topics/Cloning.html
