why metal are good conductor of electricity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

See, a material can only conduct electricity if it has \(free \; \; electrons\)..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only free electrons have tendency to move in material and when they move or flow, as you know also, they constitute current..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, metals are good conductor of electricity as they have free electrons in them.. When you provide Voltage or any potential difference to its ends, the electrons inside it start moving, and while moving they constitute current.. :)

Still in doubt?? :)
