Square QRST is shown below with line WX passing through the center: If square QRST is dilated by a scale factor of three about the center of the square to create square Q'R'S'T', dilated line W'X' will

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let the dilation factor is y,then coordinates of line WX will be (W+y,X-y) if dilated clock wise.. and (W-y,X+y) if dilated counter clok wise..1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now replace y=3

i'm sorry for the late reply.. I still don't understand ): help? @zaibali.qasmi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to rotate WL to three about centre..okay..??when you rotate it (clockwise)then W will be 3 ahead and L will be 3 on opposite sde..1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

be parallel to line WX and pass through point S be perpendicular to line WX and pass through point R pass through points W and X move three units to the left

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so, D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes..\11
