jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

have you tried using integration by parts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes im trying to figure out what should be my U or V'

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

when I worked it out, I let u = e^(-2x) dv = sin(6x) I used x instead of theta

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so, du = -2e^(-2x) v = -(1/6)*cos(6x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahh no wonder i let u=sin6theta

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok think i should be able to solve it!.. attempting it now thanks Jim!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

either way works because you can derive or integrate either piece

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you're welcome
