jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Use the formula V = pi*r^2*h V = volume pi = 3.14 (approximately) r = 2 (radius) h = 8 (height)

I got 100.48, but it just doesn't seem right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is: 100.53. When you use the formula to find the volume of a cylinder: V=pi*r*2*h, and subsitute the numbers in, you get that answer.

You were close, but you should estimate your final answer.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

If you compute 3.14*2^2*8, you get 100.48 If you use more accuracy for pi, say pi = 3.1415926535898, then you'll have 3.1415926535898*2^2*8 = 100.5309649
