for that we use unix? can anyone give me some idea about unix
"for that we use unix?" Ummm.... what that are you talking about? "can anyone give me some idea about unix" Sure! http://www.ee.surrey.ac.uk/Teaching/Unix/
Unix is used in instances when you want a stable, reliable, cost effective machine. Unix isn't the simplest OS to learn, but especially with the Free Software Foundation and Open Source movement, it's possible and easier to learn all the gory details. Since proprietary OS's base their ideas on Unix concepts, just perverting them to maximize profits, a good knowledge of Unix will allow you to do an adequate to superior job on proprietary OS's than people "trained" on those OS's.
open source code like Linux operating system and similar to Android
masumanwar... what? LINUX is not UNIX. It is a work (almost) alike that was developed from completely new code but intended to function on less expensive hardware. See, true UNIX is closed source, so saying it is "open source code like Linux operating system and similar to Android" is wrong on two counts right there. Also, Android is LINUX. It is a distribution that has been optimized for mobile hardware and commercial use. (Yes, Android has commercial optimization. Look at their non-kernel driver stack in the user space.) So that is three mistakes in that statment. It would be better to say that "open source code like Linux operating system and Android let you use things similar to UNIX for free." or some similar statement. You can even say people can learn UNIX by using open source or by learning LINUX.
