Problem:A child's wading pool is to be built in the shape of a circle with a tiled walkway around it. The pool will have a diameter of 6 ft, and the walkway is 1 1/2 ft wide. How many square feet of space is required to build the structure? pi 4 1/2 to sqrt of 2, pi[3 sqrd-(1 1/2) to the sqrt of 2], pi 3 to sqrt of 2, or pi ( 1 1/2) to the sqrt of 2?
