In the figure attached, the diagonals of the quadrilateral ABCD are perpendicular to each other. If AC = 26 cm and BD = 20 cm, what is the area of the quadrilateral ABCD?

well for a quadrilateral for have perpendicular unequal diagonals its a rhombus the area \[A = \frac{1}{2} \times x \times y\] where x and y are the lengths of the diagonals
Ohh... thanks.. I had doubt regarding the figure... as this doesn't look like a RHOMBUS..
well normally they would include the statement..." Not to scale" on the diagram
could be kite too, but area will be same
