A metal resistance thermometer has a resistance of 5.748 ohm when in pure melting ice and a resistance of 7.639 ohm when in the vapor from pure water boiling at standard atmospheric pressure. At room temperature, the resistance is 6.164 ohm. the resistance of a thermistor at the same three temperatures is found to be 950 ohm, 51 ohm and 327 ohm respectively. (a) calculate the room temperature on the scale of : (i) metal resistance themometer (ii) the thermistor
