aight so james has these two numbers and he all like 'lol the highest common factor of these numbers is 3' and then he like 'lel the lowest common multiple is 45' and im sittin here like 'wtf are those two numbers' help pls

Factors are what you can multiply to get a number. Multiples are what you get after multiplying a number by an integer.

So you are given one factor which 3 to get the multiple of 45, all you need is another factor. so put into an equation let x be the other factor 3x=45 solve for x
