whats the difference between quantitative and qualitative?

Quantitative means a mearsurement of something that can be quantified .. which means it can be expressed mathematically such as mass, force, acceleration.. Qualiative means a descriptive measurement that does not include quantification such as saying the sky is blue or the object is in the ground
