1.) solve for the y, which you get y=-5
since no x equation or variable, x=0 (0,5)
or start at -5 go up 1, left 1 everytime
y + 5 = 0 y = -5 When you have an equation thay y = a number, you have a horizontal line. A horizontal line has 0 slope with no x intercept. Just to let you know, if your equation was x = a number, you would have a vertical line with an undefined slope with no y intercept.
