Im a little stuck on this. Can someone help me find the next number in the sequence or pattern. 3, -6, 12, 4, 20, ? the avail answers i'm given are (13, 14, 6, or 16)

OpenStudy (aum):

The differences are: -9, +18, -8, +16 So the next difference will be -7 20 - 7 = 13.

So this really does not have formula per se?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is just Logical Reasoning.. :)

OpenStudy (aum):

No, it is a pattern we need to find.

I got it, i was getting stuck on something so simple.. Thank you for helping me out wit this. LOL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, it is not something like AP or GP, you are just given a pattern, with proper reasoning you have to find the next time.. :)

OpenStudy (aum):

You are welcome.
