can someone help me by writing the equation

OpenStudy (4n1m0s1ty):

Lets call the time travelled for the car t1 and the time travelled for the bus t2. Then we can say: \[t_{1} = t_{2}\] We know that the bus is 20 mph slower than the car, so lets call the bus v2 and the car v1: \[v_{2} = v_{1} - 20\] Now you just need to know that the speed is simply the distance divided by the time. \[v_{1} = \frac{300}{t_{1}}\] \[v_{2} = \frac{180}{t_{2}}\] Hope this helps/

d = distance ; c = car; b = bus ; s = speed ; t = time |dw:1413220919446:dw|
