This is confusing me I don't get it!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Water is 20%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you know ? explain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cause i want to know too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

80% + 20% = 100%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There's no more than 100% in something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. now ill explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

90 -10 + 20 = 100. I guess for the equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if 80% of the can is taken up by orange juice. then that means 20% of the can is water. and if that 20% of the can is equal to 1 liter, then the whole can is full of 5 liters.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then, the equation would be X=.8 times 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, I get it now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

X equals orange juice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5-X=1
