Columbus didn't think the world was flat. However, Columbus and others understimated the world's size. Calculated that east Asia must be approximately where north America is on right now. They didn't know the pacific ocean even exist. He thought he was taking a route to Asia, and taught he had landed in India, which he called the natives Indians. So I believe the correct answer is B
