well if \(\bf x \ge -4\) that means that "x" takes no values after -4 but on the graph I can see -5 and an arrow, indicating beyond to \(\large \infty\) so is obviously larger than -4

well... is not that one "domain" means. the values "x" can take or is taking so.... what values is "x" taking, or extending to "x" is extending on the left FROM ? to the right UP TO?
