This is a parbola. The "vertex" equation form.

Here is the form: F(x) = a(x-h)^2 + k You should now be able to identify a, h and k
h and k is the coordinates of the vertex The sign of a indicates whether the parabola opens up or opens down

The absolute value of a will determine the spread or width of the parabola.
You are looking for a positive 1/4 value of a, (x + 2)^2, and a value of -10 for k. Note that the (x + 2)^2 is that value as (x - (-2)) becomes a (x + 2). Do you understand?
