OpenStudy (imstuck):

You have to get everything on the same side of the equals sign. 6x^2+13x-5=0. Always set it equal to 0, then you can solve it by factoring.

OpenStudy (imstuck):

You would have to use the quadratic formula to do it. The factors are (x-1/3)(x+5/2)

x=-5/2,1/3 as IMStuck said.

Thank you both!
