The length of a car's skid mark in feet is given by L=0.046s^2−0.199s+0.264,where s is the car's speed in miles per hour. If the length of a skid mark is 100 feet, find the speed in miles per hour the car was traveling.

not sure why you mentioned me and it's already been an hour (sorry about that). But if you still need my help let me know.

OpenStudy (gorv):

L=0.046s^2−0.199s+0.264 l=100 100=0.046s^2-0.199s+0.264

OpenStudy (gorv):

subtract 100 from both side and divide by 0.046
