what is the difference between quadratic and linear expressions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Quadratic has degree of \(2\) while linear has degree \(1\).. Degree is the highest power of the variable in those expressions.. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

linear expressions are those in which variable do have the power 1 but Quadratic equations have the power greater than 1.. e.g linear=> y=ax+b & quadratic = ax^2+bx+c
