I need some help with finding the slope of a line on a graph that is passing through the points (-2, 5) & (9,-4).... could someone help me maybe? I don't want the answer, I want to know how to do it.

slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

take one point as (x1,y1) ..(-2,5) means x1=-2 and y1=5

similarly consider other point as (x2,y2)
