Im ok with math, what do you need help with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) = 2x + 6, g(x) = 4x2 Find (f + g)(x). (1 point) 8x3 + 24x 4x2 + 2x + 6 -4x2 + 2x + 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@drumminboy918 how can i do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[f(x)=2x+6 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know what f(x) means?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no ! @drumminboy918

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, its just a fancy word for Y, pertaining to graphing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, what about g(x) ??? @drumminboy918

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Same thing, its just that there are two different equations and they don't want to mix the two together (since f is already used)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it !! @drumminboy918

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what exactly does your teacher want you to do with this? Because I am having a hard time understanding what the question is actually asking.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
