Solve x2 = 121. 60.5 −11 11 ±11

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

x^2 = 121 x = sq rt 121 you can do the math

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

by taking the sq rt of x^2, it cancels out the exponent..but what you do on one side of the equal sign, you have to do on the other...so x = sq rt 121 and you can do the math to find that

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

^^^^ And sqrt will leave us with \(\pm \)and the number which multiplied by itself equals 121

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

@geny55 What do you think the answer is now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
