The area formula of a triangle is \[b \times \frac{ h }{ 2 }\] The height of the triangle is 0.8cm. So 0.8cm divided by 2 equals 0.4. Now that you know what the height divided by 2 is, you can substitute numbers for variables.
The next thing you need to do is this. \[2.4\times0.4=?\] The answer you should get is 0.96...therefore\[2.4\times0.4=0.96\] Does that help?
