Go through the table and see when f(x) = g(x) for the SAME x.
That is when \(2(3)^x = 3^x+1 \)

From the tables, when x = -2, f(x) = 0.22 and g(x) = 1.11.
f(x) is NOT equal to g(x) when x = -2. So x = -2 is NOT a solution.

Try x = -1, 0, 1, and 2.
