I have no idea how to move coordinates. I always mess it up can someone help?

OpenStudy (kl0723):

writing a rule would be to write the equation... you already have the two points, so try to find the slope (m) and then the value b, your forst point is the one given before moving and second point is the one at the end ;)

OpenStudy (kl0723):

\[m=\frac{ y2-y1 }{ x2-x1 }\]

OpenStudy (kl0723):

the equation should look like: y=mx+b

OpenStudy (kl0723):

now from that point move three steps up and one to the right, try it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with both?

OpenStudy (kl0723):

to obtain the second point move three steps up and 1 to the right... starting from the first point
