What is 4.8 x 108 m/h in kilometers per hour?

OpenStudy (javk):

Any time you want to convert a measurement that looks kinda funky, just separate your units out. Remember that they are, also, either being multiplied or divided with your number. Like above...what its really saying is: \[\frac{4.8\times108\times1m}{ 1h }\] \[1m=0.001km\] Substitute meter with the kilometer \[\frac{4.8\times108\times0.001km}{ 1h }\] And Solve

So would I divide the top answer with 1h?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that meter per hour or miles per hour?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
