Does the given matrix, A, have an inverse? If so, What is A^-1 A= [-7 -25] [2 7] This is a square matrice, so it must have an inverse right? So if I multiply this by -1 it's [7 25] [-2 -7]?

hartnn (hartnn):

Its not necessary that every square matrix has an inverse! If the determinant of that matrix is NOT 0, onlt then it has an inverse. so can you find the determinant of A ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The determinant of a 2x2 is a*d - b*c? But there is only 1 so. . .I dun know now. x3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is a singular matrix?

hartnn (hartnn):

there is only 1 what ? |dw:1413383381867:dw|
